If you're hosting your server on a self-hosted Pterodactyl panel and encounter issues where you cannot connect, here are some simple steps to troubleshoot this issue.
Issue 1: Server is not forcing Outgoing IP
This issue only happens when your machine has multiple IPs and the server you are hosting does not use the machine's main IP address.
Navigate to your panel's administrator section, then "Nests" under the Service Management section.
Select your Rust nest. This is typically called "Rust."
In the Nest Eggs section, select your primary Rust Egg. This is also typically called "Rust."
In your Rust Egg, ensure "Force Outgoing IP" is checked.
If this setting is disabled, enable it, then scroll down and save your page. Then, restarting your server will resolve this issue.
